Salesforce Developer (UI/UX)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid with in-person work 3 days per week and based within commuting distance of a hirify.global hub

hirify.global is an intelligent travel and spend management platform that automates travel bookings, expenses, invoice processing, and related business operations.

What you will do

• Audit Salesforce Lightning experiences and identify usability issues affecting sales representatives.
• Define a prioritized UI improvement roadmap tied to productivity and adoption.
• Design, prototype, and validate improved layouts, workflows, and components with users.
• Build custom Lightning Web Components and supporting Apex, and configure Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, Dynamic Actions, and console apps.
• Run feedback sessions, usability tests, and pilots while tracking adoption, performance, and user satisfaction.
• Prepare release notes, walkthroughs, documentation, and knowledge transfer for the global Salesforce team.

Requirements

• Strong production experience building Lightning Web Components.
• Solid knowledge of Apex, SOQL, the Salesforce data model, Lightning Experience customization, and Flows.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD or deployment processes.
• UX mindset with the ability to explain design decisions and incorporate feedback from non-technical users.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work independently across time zones in a global team.
• Portfolio or examples of shipped Salesforce UI work; experience with SLDS, prototyping tools, accessibility principles, and Sales Cloud workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Figma, Jest testing for LWC, Lightning performance profiling, and optimization.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, JavaScript Developer I, or Platform App Builder.
