Senior Full Stack Engineer (C#/JavaScript)

What you will do

• Build production-grade backend services with C# and web applications with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design scalable, fault-tolerant component architectures and APIs for core platform capabilities and web interfaces.
• Prepare technical specifications for multi-sprint projects, including cost breakdowns and architectural trade-off evaluations.
• Develop and deploy services on AWS, collaborating with DevOps and Cloud teams on performance, efficiency, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce technical standards, and maintain automated unit, integration, and debugging test coverage.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers, collaborate with Product, Design, and QA, and investigate complex tier-three escalations.

Requirements

• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex customer-facing applications in production.
• Strong C# expertise, or strong Java experience with the ability to transition to C#, plus object-oriented design knowledge.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and modern technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Working knowledge of AWS core services, data structures, algorithms, asynchronous programming, distributed systems, and relational databases.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and single-page applications.
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Background in high-scale SaaS or cloud platform environments.
• Familiarity with educational software, Learning Management Systems, or SAML, OAuth2, and LTI.
