Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Wilmington, DE; Buffalo Grove, IL; Lewisville, TX; or Logan, UT, United States. Hybrid or remote work is available during Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

What you will do

• Design and develop new features for cloud-based commercial tax software.
• Write high-quality code and resolve software issues.
• Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance, project management, and product management teams.
• Participate in daily standups and contribute to a fast-paced delivery process.
• Review peer code, improve implementation quality, and contribute to unit and integration test automation.
• Coach and mentor junior software engineers while learning and evaluating new technologies.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software design and development experience.
• Professional experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with microservice-based architecture and containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure container services.
• Expertise in object-oriented design, programming patterns, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, independent working, adaptability, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Next.js, Vue.js, or Svelte.
• Experience with Azure.
