Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Salary: £41,691–£52,114 per year, negotiable depending on experience

What you will do

• Develop and improve educator-facing digital platforms and professional learning applications.
• Improve system performance, resilience, operational stability, and the digital experience for educators and schools.
• Provide technical guidance to product and test engineers and promote consistent engineering standards.
• Apply practices covering code quality, automated testing, security, observability, and operational performance.
• Contrhirify.globalute to technical roadmaps, platform consolidation, architectural simplification, and technical debt reduction.
• Collaborate with product, UX, data, engineering, and business stakeholders to align delivery with user needs.

Requirements

• Experience delivering and operating large-scale digital platforms in complex organisational environments.
• Strong full-stack development experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, observability, secure development, automated testing, and reliability engineering.
• Experience integrating headless content management systems, frontend frameworks, and third-party APIs.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum projects, complex problem-solving, technical trade-offs, and cross-functional product teams.
• Understanding of security, data protection, GDPR, and compliance requirements, with a Computer Science, Engineering, related degree, or equivalent professional experience.
