Engineer, Design Enablement PDK (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, support, and maintain Process Design Kit components, technology files, runtime code, and automation tools.
• Translate semiconductor process requirements, design rules, technology specifications, and SPICE model documentation into PDK development specifications and data.
• Create and maintain DRC, LVS, and PEX test cases, perform regression testing, and support accurate PDK releases.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes, and implement corrections with cross-functional technical teams.
• Prepare release notes, application notes, technical documentation, and provide support for PDK deployment, integration, and usage.
• Improve PDK development methods, automation, testing coverage, documentation, and release quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Basic knowledge or experience in semiconductor design enablement, PDK development, integrated circuit design, physical verification, EDA application engineering, or a related area.
• Knowledge of semiconductor process technology, integrated circuit design flows, and PDK structures.
• Ability to interpret design-rule documentation, technology specifications, and SPICE model information.
• Programming or scripting capability for engineering automation, data processing, testing, or tool integration.
• Strong analytical, debugging, documentation, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
