Product Development QRE (Semiconductor)

Location: Malaysia, Penang; hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

What you will do

• Develop and execute product qualification strategies in line with release criteria.
• Perform risk assessments and define quality and reliability goals for product development and manufacturing decisions.
• Contribute to the design, validation, and manufacturing testing of components, boards, and systems.
• Collaborate with process development, fab, factory, assembly, design, manufacturing, and test teams.
• Analyze early customer feedback and post-silicon quality results to identify improvement opportunities.
• Optimize production processes while balancing quality and cost constraints.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product development and qualification in the semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of quality and reliability principles, including product qualification standards.
• Ability to analyze component and system specifications for manufacturability and reliability optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and experience implementing effective improvement solutions.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional design, manufacturing, and test teams.
