Group Risk Investigator

Location: London, with hybrid working requiring 3 days per week in the Osterley office. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead proportionate integrity investigations into unethical behaviour, dishonesty, fraud, theft, misuse of company assets, criminal matters and whistleblowing concerns.
• Manage cases from initial assessment and planning through evidence gathering, interviews, findings and debriefs.
• Gather, preserve, review and analyse documentary, digital and witness evidence while maintaining confidentiality and evidential integrity.
• Conduct sensitive conversations and work with HR Investigations, Employee Relations, Legal & Compliance, senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Produce evidence-based findings and recommendations that support decision-making, corrective action and risk mitigation.
• Contribute to shared learning, thematic insights and continuous improvement across the investigations function.

Requirements

• Proven experience conducting corporate, law enforcement, regulatory or similar investigations.
• Strong judgement, professional curiosity and the ability to reach balanced, evidence-based conclusions.
• Assured evidence handling and analysis skills, including documentary, digital and witness evidence.
• Excellent communication, questioning and report-writing skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, integrity, resilience and discretion when handling sensitive information.
• Appropriate right to work in the UK is required; hirify.global does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Nice to have

• Investigation qualification or accreditation such as PIP2, ACi/CCi or equivalent training.
• Experience with structured interviewing approaches such as the PEACE model.
• Experience using eDiscovery, review or case management tools and conducting open-source enquiries.
• Experience using AI responsibly for investigation efficiency and evidence review.
• Experience identifying themes, control weaknesses and lessons learned from investigations.
