Agile Delivery Lead

Location: Hybrid in York, United Kingdom, with attendance at the York office at least two days per week.

What you will do

• Own delivery performance for a cross-functional squad within the Engagement & Efficiency Platform.
• Maintain short-, medium-, and long-term delivery plans and ensure commitments are visible, realistic, and actively managed.
• Coordinate engineering, business analysis, architecture, product, and stakeholder activities.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and other delivery ceremonies while removing blockers and managing dependencies.
• Monitor squad capacity, workload distribution, bottlenecks, risks, and delivery constraints.
• Provide transparent status reporting, forecasts, mitigation plans, and concise updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Significant experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or in a similar role.
• Proven experience delivering technology initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean delivery practices.
• Experience with Jira and delivery reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong planning, organisation, and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to influence without formal authority.
• Experience managing cross-functional technology teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or financial services.
• Experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Data & AI, automation, or digital platform initiatives.
• Working knowledge of release management and platform delivery models.
• Experience using delivery metrics and visual reporting tools.
