People Operations Specialist

What you will do

• Support employees and managers with questions about contracts, benefits, policies, working conditions, and other People topics.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and contract changes across the employee lifecycle.
• Maintain employee data, workflows, and troubleshooting in the HRIS.
• Support employment-law compliance, collective agreements, working-time records, and audits.
• Analyze headcount, turnover, and absenteeism data and propose process improvements.
• Collaborate with the People team, external advisors, and international stakeholders.

Requirements

• Expert-level Spanish and solid English are required.
• 3–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar generalist role.
• Good understanding of Spanish labor law.
• Experience with an HRIS such as hirify.global, Personio, BambooHR, or a similar system.
• Strong communication, organization, rigor, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership in ambiguous situations and improve processes.
