People Operations Specialist (AI)

Location: Hybrid, Madrid, Spain; collaboration with teams in Madrid and Barcelona and in-person work at the Madrid HQ.

Annual salary: €26,000–€34,000. Equity package also available.

What you will do

• Serve as the local People Operations reference for the Spanish teams.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, benefits, and resignations.
• Own payroll inputs and people data while coordinating with external payroll partners.
• Build scalable compliance standards for Spain with legal advisors.
• Use AI, HiBob, and data to automate manual work and create People dashboards.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or as an HR Generalist.
• Hands-on experience with contracts, onboarding, payroll, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of Spanish employment law fundamentals and experience handling Spanish employment processes.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, proactive communication, and resilience.
• Native Spanish and fluent English at C1+ level.

Nice to have

• Experience with HiBob or similar HR and payroll tools.
• Interest in the legal industry.
• Italian language skills.
