Head of Digital & E-commerce

Location: Remote from the Philippines, based in Manila, with working hours aligned flexibly to New Zealand and Australian business time.

Salary: Up to Php 180,000 per month, with the final amount determined by the client based on skills and experience.

International business specialising in premium products and solutions for residential and commercial projects across Australia and New Zealand.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the digital and e-commerce strategy aligned with commercial targets.
• Own the website roadmap, prioritize improvements, and translate business needs into technical briefs and acceptance criteria.
• Improve customer journeys across product discovery, comparison, enquiries, purchasing, checkout, and repeat ordering.
• Drive online revenue, conversion, retention, and profitability through testing, optimization, SEO, paid media, email, social, and content initiatives.
• Coordinate developers, designers, content creators, multimedia specialists, marketers, and data resources.
• Monitor website, marketing, enquiry, revenue, and gross-profit performance and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in digital growth, e-commerce management, digital commerce, or a related field.
• Proven ownership of a company website and digital or e-commerce customer journeys, with measurable results in conversion, customer experience, or revenue.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional specialists and managing digital projects independently in a remote environment.
• Strong knowledge of website usability, customer journey optimization, CRO, digital analytics, e-commerce, SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and content strategy.
• Ability to translate business objectives and customer insights into technical requirements, development priorities, and creative briefs.
• Excellent written and spoken English required, including communication with international stakeholders and presentation of recommendations.
• Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, workflow improvement, and content development, with verification of outputs.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B e-commerce, wholesale distribution, manufacturing, building products, interior solutions, or other product-led industries.
• Experience supporting customers or businesses in Australia, New Zealand, or comparable international markets.
• Familiarity with Magento or other enterprise e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with ERP and CRM integrations, product information management, trade portals, product configurators, or technical product catalogues.
• Knowledge of customer education frameworks such as They Ask, You Answer and experience with design-led brands.
