Business Unit Head - Oncology, Hematology & Rare Disease

Location: Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur; workplace type: Flex Commuter / Hybrid. The role leads business operations across Singapore and Malaysia and is based in Malaysia.

What you will do

• Own the Singapore and Malaysia business P&L, financial stewardship, and delivery of business objectives.
• Set market strategy across both countries using market, competitor, customer, and access insights.
• Translate regional direction into country plans, priorities, ownership, and execution plans.
• Lead marketing, sales, account management, contracting, and legal processes in line with company policies and local requirements.
• Optimize field-force deployment and productivity through account prioritization, capability building, and coaching.
• Build and lead a high-performing team while representing the business on relevant management committees.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience from similar positions.
• Proven pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in oncology, hematology, or rare disease.
• Experience in pharmaceutical sales, marketing management, P&L and financial management, and leading a relevant-sized team.
• Demonstrated success in setting strategy, making business trade-offs, executing priorities, and launching products.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Experience in a leading pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
• Previous experience as a Business Unit Head or manager with a record of delivering business targets through teams.
