Team Lead (Supplier Operations)

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Supplier Operations Tactical Buyer team, setting goals, ensuring accountability, and supporting career growth.
• Manage relationships between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, including sourcing, quality, factory, product lifecycle management, repair and reuse, HR, and finance partners.
• Drive commercial planning, cost optimization, material availability, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Oversee supplier performance for the Tactical Buyer teams in Linkou and Tainan, including cost and logistics delivery targets.
• Identify supply chain risks and lead mitigation initiatives to support business continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in commercial studies, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in supplier operations, supply chain, or procurement, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven employee engagement, team leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and Mandarin are required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and mechatronic components and related supply chain dynamics.
• Strategic thinking, hands-on execution, influencing skills, and the ability to manage complexity under pressure.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
• Additional language skills.
