Procurement Director (Warehouse Automation)

What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year procurement strategies for warehouse automation, robotics, ASRS, conveyors, sortation systems, industrial controls, sensors, and related technologies.
• Lead high-value RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, sourcing events, contract negotiations, and total-cost-of-ownership improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate global and regional suppliers and manage supplier performance, risk, capacity planning, governance, and business continuity.
• Negotiate framework, maintenance, and service agreements covering pricing, warranties, support, intellectual property, and performance guarantees.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Capital Projects teams from project conception through implementation.
• Lead and develop the category management team while establishing procurement processes, best practices, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 7 years in infrastructure categories.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, contract management, analytical, and cost-modeling capabilities.
• Experience managing global teams and multi-region supplier portfolios.
• Proficiency with procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba or Coupa and data analytics tools.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, time-management, stakeholder-management, and executive-presence skills.
