Design Systems Manager

Location: Hybrid, based at London Bridge 3 days a week

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, architecture, roadmap, and adoption of the design system across web and mobile platforms.
• Partner with product design, front-end engineering, and product management teams on design tokens, component architecture, and code repositories.
• Define global patterns and maintain consistency, interaction quality, visual polish, and high-craft standards.
• Establish and document WCAG accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices.
• Build governance processes, contribution models, and documentation to drive adoption across product teams.
• Optimize design-to-code workflows, component libraries, and documentation platforms.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in product design and design systems across web and mobile.
• Deep technical fluency and experience collaborating with front-end engineers on design tokens, component architecture, and code repositories.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG standards and experience implementing accessible design systems.
• Proficiency with Figma, tokens, variables, and documentation platforms such as Storybook or Zeroheight.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including mentoring junior and mid-level designers.
