Product Designer (AI UX/UI)

Salary: £70,000–£110,000 base annually plus meaningful equity

What you will do

• Own and expand the Figma design system, including scalable components, typography, tokens, shared styles, and documentation.
• Translate user stories into journey maps, wireframes, polished interfaces, and production-ready designs.
• Design intuitive interfaces that help non-technical users model real-world processes and work with complex underlying theory.
• Create interactive Figma and web prototypes to validate user flows and micro-interactions.
• Facilitate design critiques and collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design across typography, color, motion, and copy.

Requirements

• Experience designing complex web applications with a modern design-system mindset.
• Advanced Figma expertise, including variants, tokens, shared styles, and auto-layout.
• Strong visual design skills in typography, color, and grid systems combined with systematic thinking.
• Ability to prototype at multiple fidelities and explain design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.2 and practical accessibility techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal English and comfort working in an asynchronous, documentation-heavy environment.

Nice to have

• Experience designing data-dense products such as simulations, modeling, analytics, dashboards, or AI-user interactions.
• Hands-on UX research experience, including workshops, study planning, analysis, and applying findings.
• Interest in real-time collaboration and multiplayer editing UX patterns.
