Design Engineer (3D)

hirify.global develops physically grounded world models that understand the geometry and physics of real and imagined environments for applications including robotics, AR/VR, gaming, and cinema.

What you will do

• Own the design system and product experience across web and mobile surfaces.
• Translate the brand into reusable rules for typography, colour, iconography, layout, components, and interactions.
• Design web experiences for world creation, 3D viewing and editing, onboarding, accounts, and pricing or upgrade flows.
• Design mobile capture, upload, generation, and viewing journeys, including camera workflows, permissions, progress states, and failure recovery.
• Define spatial interactions for navigating, selecting, editing, and moving through generated 3D worlds.
• Implement production-quality responsive front-end interfaces and collaborate with product engineers through review and release.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in product design, design engineering, digital product design, or a similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a scalable design system and shipped web and mobile products.
• Strong systems thinking across typography, layout, colour, components, interaction states, responsive behaviour, accessibility, and platform conventions.
• Fluency in Figma, including components, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
• Ability to write and ship production front-end code using React and TypeScript or a comparable modern web stack.
• Comfort working directly with engineers, understanding implementation constraints, reviewing builds, and refining details through release.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D, spatial computing, cameras, creative tools, or technically complex workflows.
• Familiarity with Gaussian splats, WebGL, Three.js, React Three Fiber, PlayCanvas, Blender, Unreal, AR, XR, or VR.
• Experience with native mobile design tooling or production mobile application stacks.
• Experience extending a design system across product and marketing surfaces.
