IT Technician (Information Technology)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite role

What you will do

• Support and maintain IT infrastructure, datacenter equipment, and end-user systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system performance issues.
• Monitor system health and analyze logs, alerts, and diagnostic data.
• Assist with infrastructure deployments, IT operations, and system upgrades.
• Perform hands-on infrastructure cabling, wireless access point, access control, and camera installation.
• Follow configuration management and operational best practices.

Requirements

• IT degree, college diploma, or relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Administrator.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills and excellent communication.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and identify cable colors for Cat 6 termination and inspection.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, remain on your feet or walk for extended periods, work in tight spaces, sit for extended periods, and repeatedly climb ladders while working overhead.
• Valid driver's license with no major moving violations in the last three years.
