Operation Manager (PM-Lab, Robotics)

hirify.global's Robotics business develops industrial robotics and automation solutions, with this role supporting the Lab Automation business line in China.

What you will do

• Oversee local operations across project management, project engineering, manufacturing, and related system and solutions activities.
• Lead the local project execution team and ensure compliance with hirify.global Robotics policies, controls, SOX requirements, and internal procedures.
• Review project execution and performance with management and project managers, ensuring contract fulfilment and approving project deviations.
• Manage the project portfolio, including consistent methodology, execution quality, and contractual project closure.
• Plan operational resources based on system and solution sales, address capability and capacity gaps, and develop local solutions know-how.
• Lead continuous improvement, analyze lessons learned, coach and develop employees, and assume a senior project manager role when needed.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience, preferably in automation, robotics, or system project work.
• A degree, ideally in Engineering or a comparable field, with training in Business Administration and Management.
• Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent leadership and people development skills, with relevant and successful change management experience.
• Strong customer focus and a proactive approach.
• Fluent English.
