Analytics Engineer (Live-Service Games)

What you will do

• Own analytics across content releases, live events, monetization, the in-game economy, and player behavior.
• Write complex SQL against large, messy, semi-structured event data and reconcile metrics across sources.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests, interpret noisy real-world data, and turn findings into recommendations for product, art, live ops, and external partners.
• Build internal dashboards and tools focused on concrete product decisions, owning them from data pipeline through interface, deployment, and iteration.
• Build scheduled pipelines, models, simulations, forecasting tools, probability and expected-value tools, and ML-based content scoring.
• Create documentation, APIs, and integrations so tools can be used beyond the data team.

Requirements

• Strong SQL and Python skills for analysis.
• Applied statistics and practical judgment when working with noisy, skewed, real-world data.
• Experience or comfort building and deploying small services and data pipelines.
• Fluency with AI coding agents and related workflows.
• Understanding of free-to-play games, including monetization, gacha, live events, virtual economies, and player segments.
• Ability to explain methods in plain language and write for decision-makers.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with applied machine learning, including embeddings, similarity, and scoring.
