Systems Operations Analyst (AI/Python)

Location: Remote anywhere in the U.S. Evening schedule is Monday-Friday, 3-11pm ET, with 9am-5pm ET training during the first month. Weekend support is required every other weekend.

Expected pay range: $70,000-$90,000 per year.

Consumer food and wellness company using AI to recommend and deliver groceries, recipes, and supplements.

What you will do

• Monitor fulfillment systems, integrations, and site requests during evening hours.
• Investigate stuck or failed orders, inventory mismatches, and shipping issues using SQL, logs, and AI-assisted tools.
• Use Claude and Cursor to understand Python/Django code, make small fixes, and build scripts and automation.
• Escalate complex issues with clear summaries of impact, investigation steps, and recommended next actions.
• Document fixes, improve runbooks, and support new features, reporting, and process improvements.
• Monitor the order management system during the Sunday order release and handle weekend issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, supply chain, or a related field.
• Exposure to fulfillment, warehouse, or supply chain operations through work, internships, co-ops, coursework, or WMS/OMS experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Copilot, including reviewing and verifying generated code.
• Working knowledge of SQL and basic familiarity with Python.
• Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for the stated evening schedule and every-other-weekend support while working remotely from the U.S.

Nice to have

• Industrial engineering or supply chain background.
• Experience with Python, Django, JSON, and APIs.
• ERP or WMS experience.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
