Senior Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote, Texas, United States; open only to US-based candidates authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: USD 85,200–145,200 per year, with potential performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Deliver data analysis that supports stakeholder decisions, including scoping questions, querying data, modeling results, and presenting recommendations.
• Develop deep knowledge of the platform’s data model and help consumers understand available data and how to use it.
• Define, validate, and maintain consistent metrics and definitions across the platform.
• Document data sources, schemas, metric definitions, query patterns, and reusable how-to guidance.
• Build queries, dashboards, and guides that enable self-service while profiling sources and resolving data-quality issues with data engineering.
• Use AI tools for analysis, SQL drafting, summarization, and documentation, and share effective practices with the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills, including independently querying, joining, and modeling data in a cloud warehouse.
• Hands-on understanding of modern cloud data architectures, data pipelines, schemas, and data tracing from source to consumption.
• Strong technical writing skills for data dictionaries, metric definitions, runbooks, and how-to guides.
• Ability to validate data, explain assumptions, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Real estate or proptech experience, including property, leasing, or real estate data.
• Experience maintaining a data catalog, data dictionary, or metrics layer.
• Experience supporting internal consumers of a shared data platform.
• Familiarity with Python, dbt, version control, or documentation-as-code workflows.
