Manager, Legal Programs (Privacy & AI)

Location: US Remote

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year for US-based candidates; location-based ranges may apply outside the US.

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the AI governance program, including processes, workflows, documentation, and responsible AI practices.
• Manage the cross-functional AI governance committee with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Legal.
• Own AI incident response and integrate it with data security and privacy risk management processes.
• Maintain an inventory of AI systems and use cases and monitor emerging AI regulation, including the EU AI Act and US state AI laws.
• Support the privacy program through data mapping, records of processing activities, legitimate interests assessments, audits, and risk reviews.
• Manage privacy aspects of vendor reviews and coordinate strategic legal initiatives with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Public Policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of legal project or program management experience focused on privacy and/or AI governance.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and emerging AI regulation.
• Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams from project initiation through completion.
• Strong project management, time-management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams and work with stakeholders from engineers to company leadership.
