Regulatory & Compliance Manager (Telecom)

Location: London or New York; hybrid work with regular time expected in one of the company hubs and occasional travel.

Salary: UK £90,000–£140,000; US $180,000–$220,000 annually.

hirify.global is building an operating system for mobile services that enables technology companies to embed global connectivity into their products.

What you will do

• Build the operational infrastructure required to launch hirify.global services in new markets, including regulatory readiness, product compliance checks, workflows, and cross-functional coordination.
• Convert regulatory requirements into clear, repeatable processes in collaboration with Legal.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to automate compliance controls and reduce manual work.
• Own regulatory filings, registrations, reporting, deadlines, and obligations across jurisdictions.
• Define compliance metrics, build dashboards, identify issues early, and coordinate remediation.
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain accurate policies, procedures, and process documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of regulatory and compliance experience, ideally in telecom or another regulated technology business such as fintech or payments.
• Experience building or scaling compliance systems in a fast-moving environment and turning complex processes into operational workflows.
• Ability to research and interpret legal and regulatory requirements, including consumer protection, privacy, GDPR, CPRA, LGPD, and information security.
• Practical experience with product compliance, vendor risk, or cross-border operations.
• Comfort using GRC systems, databases, workflow automation, and AI-based tools.
• Strong communication skills for explaining regulatory requirements to engineers and process gaps to lawyers.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, B2B SaaS, or data privacy.
• Law degree.
