People Operations Partner (AI)

Location: Hybrid work from the Mexico City hub, Mexico

What you will do

• Own onboarding, new-hire orientations, employee records, employment verifications, audits, and offboarding support.
• Advise employees, managers, and People Business Partners on local requirements and People Operations processes.
• Improve workflows, reduce manual work and errors, create SOPs, and maintain efficient HR systems.
• Support local benefits administration, broker coordination, open enrollment, renewals, FAQs, and employee communications.
• Coordinate global mobility cases, relocation services, travel visa support, external vendors, timelines, and deliverables.
• Maintain data integrity, conduct quarterly audits, submit compliance reports, and support policy development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR operations, or HR administration, preferably in a fast-paced global environment.
• Working knowledge of Mexican employment law and compliance requirements, including IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT, and STPS.
• Experience improving processes, creating workflows and SOPs, analyzing metrics, and managing multiple projects.
• Experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday, and a ticketing tool, preferably JIRA.
• Demonstrated experience designing and improving safe agentic AI workflows, including human approvals, data protection, output validation, failure handling, documentation, and impact measurement.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and verbal.

• Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian employment practices.
• Experience administering benefits and working with brokers or carriers.
• Experience with global mobility, immigration, relocation processes, and external vendors.
• Knowledge of employee data privacy requirements, including LFPDPPP and GDPR.
• HR certification or a degree in HR, business, law, or a related field.
