People Business Partner (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite near Denver, Colorado, or Long Beach, California

Base salary: $115,000–$170,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders across Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Mission Readiness on organizational design, talent planning, leadership development, and workforce strategy.
• Advise managers on performance management, succession planning, career development, and professional development pathways for non-technical roles.
• Manage low-to-moderate complexity employee relations cases, conduct investigations, and advise managers on consistent resolutions.
• Support compensation cycles through market benchmarking, data analysis, and collaboration with the Compensation Manager.
• Analyze engagement, attrition, and performance data to identify risks and provide insights for executive readouts.
• Support capability building, learning priorities, restructures, workforce planning, and other organizational change initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–4 or more years in a Business Partner or strategic HR role.
• Experience supporting corporate functions such as Finance, Legal, Operations, Business Development, or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of performance management, talent planning, employee relations, and compensation support.
• Bachelor’s degree required; SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR is preferred.
• Ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and balance competing priorities across multiple lean teams.
• Must be located near Denver or Long Beach and meet U.S. government export-control eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-growth technology.
• SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification.
