Senior Program Manager, M&A Finance

Location: Remote within specified U.S. locations, including San Francisco, California; Colorado; Georgia; Massachusetts; Washington; Illinois; Oregon; Texas; and New York

Base salary: $124,000–$221,430 per year, depending on experience and geographic location. Additional compensation may include bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead finance workstreams across diligence, transaction planning, close readiness, Day 1 execution, and post-close integration.
• Analyze historical and projected performance, operating metrics, cash flow, working capital, and transaction assumptions.
• Review transaction materials and agreements, assess financial risks, and develop recommendations for senior leadership.
• Coordinate pre-close planning across FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, payroll, procurement, and other finance functions.
• Develop integration plans covering governance, milestones, risks, dependencies, issue resolution, and executive updates.
• Transition processes, systems, controls, vendors, bank accounts, and reporting into hirify.global’s operating model while improving and standardizing M&A finance practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in M&A finance, transaction advisory, strategic finance, corporate finance, FP&A, or finance integration.
• Experience supporting transactions through financial diligence, modeling, closing, and post-close integration.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, communication, program management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, and Tax.
• Ability to work remotely from the specified U.S. locations.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, or another advanced finance or accounting credential.
• Experience in technology, SaaS, software, cloud, or subscription-based businesses.
• Knowledge of valuation concepts, transaction metrics, synergy analysis, and deal performance indicators.
• Experience with enterprise finance systems, reporting tools, and finance process improvement.
