Business Analyst - Remote (Salesforce)

Location: Remote within the United States; work must be performed in the United States. United States citizenship or a Green Card is required. Office reference: Reston, Virginia, United States.

Salary: $67,355.00–$114,503.00 annually.

What you will do

• Gather functional and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, and sessions with federal program managers, grant officers, and external applicants.
• Translate business needs into JIRA user stories with acceptance criteria, workflow models, and edge-case definitions.
• Manage operational backlogs covering production defects, service requests, and enhancement requests.
• Lead UAT by preparing test plans, scenarios, and execution scripts, facilitating sessions, and coordinating defect triage.
• Create SOPs, user guides, training manuals, and release notes, and deliver training to end users.
• Partner with developers, QA, integration teams, architects, product owners, project managers, and federal stakeholders to analyze issues and validate deployments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience gathering and eliciting requirements and writing user stories with detailed acceptance criteria.
• At least 2 years of experience facilitating UAT, preparing test scripts, and managing defect resolution.
• At least 2 years of experience creating training materials, user manuals, and SOPs and delivering end-user training.
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban frameworks and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder, work in the United States, and have lived in the U.S. for 3 full years out of the last 5.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal grants programs, grant lifecycles, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Salesforce, especially Salesforce Grants Management or Public Sector Solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• CBAP, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, or Certified ScrumMaster certification.
