Senior Business Analyst

What you will do

• Lead discovery and requirements-gathering activities with client stakeholders, subject matter experts, product teams, and engineers.
• Analyze how roles, assignments, and organizational eligibility determine appropriate user access across critical systems.
• Map current-state and future-state workflows, identifying gaps, dependencies, exceptions, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate discovery findings into functional requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and process documentation.
• Support MVP, quick-win, and longer-term solution definition across multiple parallel workstreams.
• Work with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, support prioritization, and guide buildable solutions.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Business Analyst on complex software, technology, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience with discovery, stakeholder interviews, workshops, requirements gathering, and synthesis of complex information.
• Ability to define business processes, workflows, business rules, functional requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and actionable recommendations.
• Experience analyzing access rules, documenting exceptions and compliance risks, and defining requirements for traceability, repeatability, reporting, and audit evidence.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience in Agile or iterative delivery environments.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence or comparable requirements and documentation tools, together with strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.

• Experience with identity and access management, access governance, provisioning, entitlements, permissions, or access reviews.
• Experience supporting compliance, audit, risk, governance, or regulatory initiatives.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience defining role-based access, eligibility rules, approval workflows, or access reconciliation processes.
• Consulting experience in large enterprise environments with multiple teams and parallel delivery workstreams.
