Analytics Engineer (Data)

Location: Remote across North and South America; candidates should operate in UTC-3 to UTC-8.

Salary: $95.4K–$190K annual base salary, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Refine data and build models that enable self-service analytics across the organization.
• Organize datasets and perform complex transformations using SQL and Python.
• Analyze data and answer questions about customers, onboarding, and community intelligence.
• Support data ingestion, modeling, analysis, data science, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with business users, designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Teach colleagues to use data and analytics effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst, data scientist, data engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong data modeling or data integration skills.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex 100+ line queries or models, or strong Python skills, including 1,000+ lines of object-oriented scripts.
• Ability to express business processes through models and charts.
• Technical degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, economics, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Availability to work within UTC-3 to UTC-8.

Nice to have

• Experience with B2B SaaS, dbt, Postgres, Redshift, Fivetran, dlt, dimensional modeling, data engineering, data science, machine learning, or LLM/AI.
