Sr. HR Generalist - HR Operations

Location: On-site in San Diego, California, United States

Annual base salary: $97,000–$133,000, plus a 20% target annual bonus and eligibility for an equity-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Execute, coordinate, and improve HR operational processes across the employee and contingent worker lifecycle, including onboarding, worker changes, extensions, and offboarding.
• Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, perform root-cause analysis, and implement practical improvements that enhance accuracy, consistency, compliance, and user experience.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for Workday, VNDLY, contingent workforce management, workflows, and related HR technology.
• Support system integrations and data flows through requirements gathering, testing, issue identification, documentation, and implementation.
• Audit worker data in Workday and VNDLY, resolve discrepancies, and address root causes to maintain data integrity.
• Develop process documentation, standard operating procedures, job aids, training materials, and workflows while managing improvement initiatives through implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4+ years of progressive relevant HR experience, preferably in HR operations, HR systems, or workforce management.
• Strong experience with Workday and VNDLY or similar vendor management system platforms, including integrations, workflows, data dependencies, testing, and system enhancements.
• Experience supporting contingent workforce processes, worker lifecycle management, and vendor or supplier interactions.
• Demonstrated process improvement experience, including process mapping, root-cause analysis, workflow optimization, and implementation.
• Strong collaboration, communication, data integrity, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
