Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid

Salary: $96,000–$142,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own payroll and benefits administration for employees.
• Manage end-to-end onboarding, including equipment preparation, first-week planning, and points of contact.
• Run performance review cycles, including timelines, templates, reminders, and manager follow-through.
• Coach managers and employees through feedback, expectations, role changes, and difficult conversations.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and compliance documentation.
• Build and improve lightweight, repeatable HR processes and partner with recruiting on offers, start dates, promotions, and transitions.

Requirements

• A few years of experience in HR operations, People Operations, or HR generalist roles.
• Hands-on experience administering payroll and benefits.
• Experience running onboarding and performance review cycles.
• Confidence coaching managers and employees through difficult conversations.
• Demonstrated ability to build lightweight processes and establish consistent execution.
• High standards and strong attention to detail.
