Inventory & Receiving Specialist (Defense Technology)

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; on-site

Salary: $35–$40 per hour plus equity

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, document, label, and store components, assemblies, and production materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions, stockroom organization, material identification, and traceability.
• Perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and help resolve shortages, damage, and other inventory issues.
• Pick, kit, stage, and move materials to support manufacturing priorities.
• Support shipping, receiving, and material-handling activities while improving related procedures and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to keep materials moving.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in receiving, inventory, warehouse, stockroom, or material-handling operations.
• Experience receiving, storing, picking, counting, and moving physical inventory.
• Experience using an ERP, MRP, warehouse, or inventory-management system for inventory transactions.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform hands-on warehouse work daily and lift and move materials as required.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residency, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, robotics, automotive, or hardware manufacturing.
• Experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing, serialized or lot-controlled inventory, kitting, work orders, or material control.
• Experience improving warehouse layouts, receiving processes, SOPs, or ERP/MRP implementations.
• Startup or growing hardware-company experience.
