Senior Designer, Design Systems (AI)

What you will do

• Own and evolve the design system, including components, interaction patterns, design tokens, libraries, and usage guidelines.
• Build scalable Figma libraries and reusable Figma Make Kits, starter files, templates, and prototype patterns.
• Define standards for accessibility, usability, responsive behavior, localization, and visual consistency across mobile and desktop experiences.
• Partner with Engineering to align design assets, coded components, tokens, MCP integrations, and design-to-code workflows.
• Establish contribution, review, versioning, release, documentation, onboarding, and adoption practices for the design system.
• Evaluate AI-assisted design outputs and emerging tools for quality, consistency, accessibility, and practical team impact.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in digital or product design, including substantial experience building or evolving design systems.
• Advanced Figma expertise, including component architecture, Auto Layout, variables, modes, libraries, and interactive prototyping.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Figma Make, Make Kits, guidelines files, and reusable prototyping practices.
• Understanding of design tokens, component-based design, interaction patterns, scalable system architecture, and MCP integrations.
• Experience designing accessible, mobile-first, responsive, and localized experiences and collaborating with front-end engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
