TL;DR
UX Design Consultant (UX Research and Interaction Design): Creating evidence-based digital experiences across web and mobile platforms with an accent on user research, design strategy, and accessible interaction design. Focus on facilitating client workshops, translating ambiguous inputs into prototypes and design systems, and validating interfaces through usability and A/B testing.
Location: Atlanta, GA; hybrid work environment

What you will do
- Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, usability testing, and A/B testing.
- Facilitate design thinking workshops, journey mapping sessions, and stakeholder alignment activities with client teams.
- Translate research and business needs into sitemaps, user flows, service blueprints, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes.
- Design and iterate responsive, mobile-first experiences using Figma, FigJam, and AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define feasible, cohesive product experiences.
- Apply WCAG 2.2 and inclusive design practices, maintain design systems, and present recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience applying UX design best practices across mobile, responsive, and multi-platform products.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Consulting or digital product agency experience with the ability to manage client expectations and adapt to varied client environments.
- Experience leading digital product concepting from problem framing through high-fidelity execution.
- Strong user-centered design, design thinking, human-centered research, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills.
- Hands-on proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, FigJam, or Adobe XD; familiarity with AI-assisted design and research tools.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree or relevant product management certifications.
- Experience with heuristic evaluation and competitor research.
- Interest in emerging UX tools, technologies, and design trends.
