Senior Systems Engineer (CAASM)

Location: Remote within the United States or onsite in Arlington, Virginia; US citizenship required

Salary: $108,000–$163,000 per year

What you will do

• Plan, design, deploy, and integrate CAASM solutions using Axonius and Armis.
• Install and configure CAASM tools, production environments, servers, and data-collection adaptors.
• Integrate APIs and data pipelines to ingest, normalize, and correlate asset data with vulnerability, threat intelligence, and security findings.
• Secure solutions with TLS, certificates, SSO/PIV authentication, and encryption technologies.
• Test data flows, troubleshoot complex issues, monitor system health, and optimize performance and availability.
• Provide CAASM subject-matter expertise and participate in the production-support on-call rotation.

Requirements

• US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years architecting, implementing, integrating, and managing COTS products in regulated production environments.
• 4+ years of systems administration in Windows, Linux, or VMware environments.
• 3+ years of programming and debugging with Python, Go, or Java, plus shell scripting, containerization, and REST APIs.
• Experience with ETL, API and data-pipeline integration, and deploying, monitoring, and securing government cloud solutions.

Nice to have

• Hands-on Axonius or Armis integration experience.
• Experience developing and supporting REST APIs for SaaS products and automating workflows through APIs.
• Knowledge of NIST, FIPS, FISMA, SAFe Agile, and Federal Civilian Agency environments.
• Experience supporting large federal programs and IT operations and maintenance.
