Director of IT, Corporate Security & Infrastructure (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid schedule with office attendance Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Work from home is available Monday and Friday unless the role is designated fully remote.

Salary: $250,000–$276,000 estimated base salary per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own corporate technology infrastructure across Mac and Windows endpoints, endpoint security, collaboration platforms, SaaS tools, office networks, and video conferencing.
• Define and execute corporate security strategy covering SaaS, endpoints, networks, physical security, security monitoring, incident response, and compliance support for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Lead identity and access management with Okta, including SSO, identity governance, least privilege, access reviews, and just-in-time provisioning.
• Manage IT support operations, employee onboarding and offboarding, asset management, runbooks, SLAs, escalations, and change management.
• Own integrations and automation across HR, Finance, Legal, ERP, HRIS, ATS, NetSuite, Workato, and Okta Workflows.
• Lead, develop, and grow a global IT and Security team of four or more members while managing budgets, forecasting, and planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT, infrastructure, or security, including 3+ years managing and developing a team.
• Hands-on expertise in identity, cloud infrastructure, networking, endpoint management, and modern SaaS environments.
• Deep experience implementing and managing Okta and running an IAM program.
• Personally owned security programs involving SOC 2 Type II, access reviews, incident response, and vendor risk.
• Experience building IT operations, including intake, SLAs, runbooks, on-call processes, asset management, and change management.
• Experience with iPaaS or integration governance, budget ownership, capacity planning, executive influence, and communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying AI in IT or security operations and working knowledge of MCP and agent authentication patterns.
• Experience supporting distributed global teams across multiple offices and time zones.
• Experience in a 300–1,500-person company as the most senior technical leader in the function.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Snowflake, GitHub, and Jira.
