Business Analyst, Finance & Billing

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; primarily office-based or remote, with occasional travel and meetings across multiple time zones.

What you will do

• Partner with Finance leaders to define business and functional requirements for financial, billing, and revenue operations.
• Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, documentation, validation, and the end-to-end requirements lifecycle.
• Develop process flows, functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
• Align Finance needs with SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, ARIBA, RAR, billing, and analytics platforms.
• Coordinate sprint planning, testing, release readiness, defect triage, and post-deployment validation.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar professional.
• 5–10 years of experience supporting financial systems, billing platforms, or enterprise technology implementations.
• Experience leading requirements, functional specifications, testing cycles, release readiness, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, communication, and process design skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, BRIM, RAR, ARIBA, billing platforms, revenue applications, or cash applications.
• Experience with Looker, Power BI, SQL, customer lifecycle systems, or high-volume subscription billing.
• PMP, ScrumMaster, or similar project management or Agile certification.
