TA Recruiter (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA, with work in Rancho Bernardo or Poway; travel between locations may be required.

Salary: $80,000–$99,000 annually; $39–$46 per hour.

What you will do

• Manage full-lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviews, coordination, offers, and pre-employment steps.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for technical, corporate, engineering, manufacturing, and specialized roles.
• Use LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search, ATS tools, and other sourcing methods.
• Partner with hiring managers on requirements, requisitions, recruiting updates, and hiring priorities.
• Coordinate communication among candidates, hiring teams, recruiters, agencies, contractors, and external recruiting partners.
• Maintain ATS records and support pipeline reporting, recruiting metrics, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Three to six years of hands-on recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline; equivalent experience or recognized HR certification may substitute.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and candidate pipelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the full recruiting lifecycle, ATS systems, sourcing, Boolean search, and recruiting tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, time-management, confidentiality, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday on a 9/80 schedule in San Diego, Rancho Bernardo, or Poway.

Nice to have

• Corporate Talent Acquisition or corporate recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other specialized roles.
• Experience with recruiting metrics, pipeline reporting, sourcing analytics, and structured corporate ATS environments.
