Recruiter (Maritime Robotics)

Location: San Diego, CA, in-office. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; U.S. persons are required due to export control requirements.

Salary: $71,000–$80,000 per year, plus stock options, 401(k) matching, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Review applications, schedule candidates, and run Round 1 interviews across open roles.
• Maintain and improve screening questions to identify qualified candidates and reduce low-signal applications.
• Partner with outside recruiters on difficult-to-fill positions.
• Work with hiring managers on role scoping, job descriptions, sourcing, and candidate closing.
• Manage candidate communication and experience from initial outreach through offer.
• Track open roles, hires, and time-to-fill metrics for leadership reporting.

Requirements

• Some recruiting or interviewing experience, ideally including candidate screening and interviews.
• Ability to manage multiple active requisitions across different functions and candidate pools.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Self-starter attitude and ability to solve challenging hiring needs independently.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under export control laws, including U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees.
