Sr. Manager, Connected Planning & Anaplan Architecture (Anaplan)

What you will do

• Own connected planning and Anaplan architecture across the FP&A organization, including model design, scalability, performance, security, and the technical roadmap.
• Translate planning requirements and spreadsheet- or workflow-based processes into scalable solutions and define appropriate boundaries between Anaplan, data, automation, and reporting layers.
• Lead Anaplan Data Hub architecture, application lifecycle management, workspace and model strategy, release management, testing, and controlled production changes.
• Lead major Anaplan implementations from solution design through validation, adoption, and support readiness.
• Design integrations between Anaplan, Snowflake, workflow automation, and downstream reporting with clear controls and ownership.
• Establish reusable standards and documentation, resolve complex architecture issues, and coach Anaplan builders across Finance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Anaplan experience with ownership of enterprise or multi-model architecture, technical roadmaps, and major solution designs.
• Deep expertise in Anaplan Data Hub design, dimensional architecture, model performance, integration patterns, and implementation practices.
• Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, release management, testing, workspace and model strategy, and controlled production change.
• Experience designing, building, and troubleshooting complex Anaplan models, formulas, integrations, and performance-sensitive solutions.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including forecasting, annual planning, headcount, expenses, revenue or bookings, scenario planning, and reconciliation to actuals.
• Working knowledge of cloud data platforms, SQL, workflow automation, APIs, or comparable integration technologies, plus technical leadership, mentoring, or people management experience.

Nice to have

• Anaplan Solutions Architect, Master Anaplanner, or comparable advanced Anaplan certification.
• Experience integrating Anaplan with Snowflake, hirify.global, APIs, or modern Finance data and automation platforms.
• Experience with connected planning across go-to-market, revenue, workforce, capacity, territory, quota, or other cross-functional domains.
• Experience with data governance, planning controls, reconciliation, metadata, or enterprise model standards.
• Experience in a SaaS or subscription business with complex forecasting and planning requirements.
