FP&A Analyst / SR FP&A Analyst

Location: Fully remote from within Costa Rica; employees near San José may also work from the office. Applicants permanently located outside Costa Rica may be declined.

What you will do

• Partner with leaders across Operations, People & Culture, Legal, and other General and Administrative functions.
• Support annual budgeting and monthly and quarterly forecasting.
• Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts, identifying drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare and improve monthly and quarterly reporting packages, management summaries, and financial insights.
• Partner with budget owners on operating expenses, headcount, and other financial drivers.
• Maintain planning data in enterprise performance management systems and perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with complex financial and operational datasets.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and headcount or workforce planning.
• Experience with a modern EPM or financial planning platform such as Pigment, Anaplan, or a comparable system.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional proficiency in English and permanent location in Costa Rica are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, software, technology, or another fast-growing global organization.
• Experience supporting G&A functions such as IT, People & Culture, Legal, Facilities, Procurement, or Operations.
• Experience at a U.S. publicly traded company and knowledge of GAAP and non-GAAP reporting.
