Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer

Location: Hybrid work setting based in Irving, Texas, United States, with up to 10% domestic travel

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components from concept through production.
• Translate customer and business requirements into equipment designs, manufacturing packages, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and simulations to validate designs and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Controls Engineering teams on equipment selection and system integration.
• Work with suppliers and customers on design reviews, procurement, documentation, and project execution using SAP and engineering tools.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while supporting continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience, including complex mechanical system design and development.
• Experience with mechanical analysis tools, simulations, and product lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, and other 3D CAD software.
• Experience leading projects, managing budgets and timelines, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States and ability to meet requirements for a U.S. Sensitive Security Clearance are required.
