Sr. Director, Supply Chain

Location: Hybrid role requiring regular work from the Gaithersburg, MD office and remote work.

Salary: $220,000–$240,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and execute the end-to-end supply chain strategy for commercial production lab operations.
• Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning process, integrating forecasts, supply plans, inventory strategies, and capacity requirements.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory management, materials control, warehousing, distribution, and third-party kit fulfillment.
• Manage supplier, logistics, and external partner strategies, including qualification, performance, contracts, and continuity planning.
• Use ERP/MRP systems, master data, analytics, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve visibility, efficiency, and decision-making.
• Build and lead a high-performing supply chain organization, including talent development, succession planning, budgets, and operating plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Logistics, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain or operations experience.
• Expertise in demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, supplier management, warehousing, logistics, risk management, and business continuity.
• Experience leading SIOP, S&OP, or an equivalent integrated planning process and presenting risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, supply chain master data, forecasting and inventory analytics, dashboards, and performance management.
• Strong leadership, communication, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
