Lead Supply Planner (Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid work schedule reporting into the Deerfield, Illinois headquarters, United States

Salary: $90,000–$143,000 USD base salary per year, plus an annual bonus or role-based sales incentive plan.

What you will do

• Plan procurement of finished goods to meet customer demand while supporting inventory targets, resource utilization, and customer service expectations.
• Evaluate forecasts and consumer point-of-sale data, manage supply-demand imbalances, and take corrective action to optimize inventory.
• Identify supply network risks, develop continuity plans for critical materials and components, and lead mitigation efforts.
• Develop feasible master production plans based on capacity requirements and maintain master data for lot sizes, ordering frequency, distribution centers, and manufacturing.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing, Operations, and related functions to analyze disruptions, recover service, and improve productivity and revenue.
• Manage supplier relationships, slow-moving and obsolete inventory, planning issues, performance metrics, and root-cause improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of related supply chain experience.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP APO and ECC master scheduling, production planning, MPR, and purchasing exposure.
• Experience taking on increasing responsibility for complex projects and supporting strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence solutions across the supply chain, think conceptually and flexibly, and maintain a strong focus on execution.
