Base salary: £75,400–£113,000 GBP gross for United Kingdom Zone A, £86,200–£129,400 GBP gross for United Kingdom Zone B, or €73,000–€109,400 EUR gross for Finland Zone A.

What you will do

• Lead near-term execution and define the technical strategy for the Web team.
• Deliver stable hirify.global platform support for desktop and mobile web browsers.
• Enable developer workflows and close functionality gaps so hirify.global titles can run across the web.
• Drive optimization initiatives for efficient performance across a broad range of target devices.
• Collaborate with hirify.global engineering, graphics, product, and external partner teams on technical specifications and dependencies.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers while building a high-performance and supportive culture.

Requirements

• Experience developing and managing a high-performance software engineering team.
• Strong knowledge of desktop, mobile, and web platform technology stacks and platform APIs for native application development.
• Software engineering expertise with working familiarity with C++, C#, and JavaScript.
• Experience collaborating with product owners and external partners to align on technical specifications and interdependencies.
• Ability to understand and work with a large, complex software product.
• Professional English proficiency is required for frequent written and verbal communication with colleagues and partners worldwide.

Nice to have

• Real-time 3D rendering and graphics API experience, including Vulkan or WebGPU.
• Familiarity with WebAssembly and Emscripten.
• Experience leading remote teams using Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of optimization methods and practical use of AI in software development.
• Passion for computer games and real-time 3D experiences.
