Sales Engineer (Identity Security, APJ)

Location: Remote, Sydney, Australia; travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

What you will do

• Craft enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions for prospects and clients.
• Drive complex sales opportunities and connect Cyera’s products and services to customer business outcomes.
• Architect information availability solutions based on identified client issues and desired outcomes.
• Deliver proof-of-value engagements and use-case demonstrations for customer stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources and act as a technical contact for the partner channel.
• Represent Cyera at marketing events and support a repeatable sales model.

Requirements

• Experience with cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role.
• Strong understanding of identity principles, application security, and identity management.
• Experience with AI-driven solutions and fundamental knowledge of ML/AI, data regulations, privacy, and data retention.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure roles, permissions, and APIs; understanding of cloud IAM, network design, databases, storage, encryption, and key management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and creative solution design skills.
• Knowledge of SFDC and opportunity tracking; willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure foundational certification.
• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Cloud Security Engineer, or Azure security and architecture certification.
• CCSP certification.
