Compliance Program Specialist Senior (Financial Services)

Location: In-office in Charlotte, North Carolina; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; or Cleveland, Ohio, United States

Base salary: $63,750–$127,500 annually, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Plan and execute compliance programs covering broker-dealer, insurance, and annuity activities.
• Evaluate regulatory, product, sales-practice, supervisory, and customer risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Review new products, business initiatives, distribution strategies, policies, procedures, disclosures, and supervisory controls.
• Provide independent compliance oversight and constructive challenge to business proposals and product governance decisions.
• Support regulatory examinations, inquiries, remediation efforts, issue escalation, and corrective action plans.
• Analyze compliance reports and monitoring results, identify deeper issues, and improve reporting processes.

Requirements

• University or college degree, typically a bachelor's degree, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience.
• Experience with broker-dealer and insurance compliance, including annuity products, suitability, sales practices, and supervision.
• Working knowledge of FINRA rules, SEC regulations, Regulation Best Interest, and applicable state insurance requirements.
• Understanding of variable, fixed, fixed indexed, and registered index-linked annuities, including product risks and distribution considerations.
• Ability to work in-office in Charlotte, Pittsburgh, or Cleveland; hirify.global will not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
