Senior Compliance Associate

Location: United States; remote work stated in the conditions, with the title indicating a hybrid Seattle arrangement

Salary: $102,500–$170,500 annual

What you will do

• Perform compliance assessments and internal audits, including criteria development, transactional testing, data analysis, workpapers, and reporting.
• Report risk assessment results, compliance risks, and trends to business, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
• Advise on consumer compliance requirements and evaluate operational and regulatory risks across business initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business processes and controls.
• Support remediation, corrective actions, compliance oversight, and implementation of the compliance management program.
• Review training, policies, customer communications, complaints, and marketing materials for compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, or internal audit.
• Experience performing compliance risk assessments and/or internal audits.
• In-depth knowledge of consumer compliance laws and regulations in marketing, financial services, or retail.
• Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience using AI tools to improve compliance research, analysis, and documentation, with willingness to drive adoption.
