Senior Compliance Officer, Regulatory Reporting

Location: Westport, CT; onsite at the Westport campus four days per week, with occasional travel to the New York City campus.

Wage range: $260,000–$480,000, inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. Expected base salary: 65%–75% of the wage range.

What you will do

• Prepare, review, validate, and submit regulatory filings and reports through completion.
• Gather underlying data, identify anomalies, and resolve filing issues.
• Build and operate processes, controls, and methodologies for accurate regulatory reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement changes in filing and regulatory-interaction procedures.
• Own quality assurance for filings and regulatory interactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Advise stakeholders and collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, and senior leaders on strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of legal or compliance experience focused on regulatory reporting for asset managers and private funds.
• Familiarity with regulations applicable to alternative investment managers and private funds.
• Experience with data, spreadsheets, and databases to identify patterns or anomalies.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to learn and adopt new software and AI tools quickly.
